Our Family Ministries Coordinator

Alan has 19 years of experience with youth but this is his first plunge into the ocean that includes children’s ministry. He graduated from Azusa Pacific University with a degree in youth ministry and then later from Fuller Theological Seminary with a Master’s of Divinity, emphasizing youth, family, and culture. 

My hope with the guidance of the Holy Spirit and the love of God is to help others take their next step with Jesus, specifically through developing a close knit connection that helps to build authentic and lasting life change.

In our Family Ministry, we will grow with God, grow with each other, and have fun. 

Alan lives in Escondido with his wife Molly and their daughters Madison (10) and Abby (5). They moved to Escondido 3 years ago from Northern California to be closer to Molly’s family. Alan is a Dance Dad for his 2 aspiring ballerina’s, likes getting home from a run (not the running part), and is a moderately large Star Wars fan.

Cassie and Alan have history as they used to work together at Sunnyvale Presbyterian from 2008-2010.
