UPDATE March 2024
We are excited to announce that we have received the Partnership Grant for $30,000 from the Synod of Southern Californian and Hawaii! We will be able to fully fund our project!! We will start construction mid-April!
UPDATE January 2024
The Palisades Presbyterian Church Session has approved $8,000 to be used from the Children’s Endowment Fund to get this project started! These funds with what has already been raised will be enough to start the resurfacing as we wait on the decision from the Synod. CH Court Tech will start the project mid-April.
UPDATE December 2023
We have officially applied for the Partnership Grant through the Synod of Southern California and Hawaii. We have requested $30,000. The grant proposal will be reviewed in January and voted upon by the Synod in March 2024. For more information about the grant process, email Pastor Cassie. Dear Allied Gardens Community,
We have a special goal in mind: refurbishing our beloved tennis courts, adding pickleball lines, fixing the lighting, and opening it up to the community.
We have a lofty goal of raising $25,000 for this project. This money will go to:
Resurfacing the tennis court
Pressure washing to remove any loose dirt and flaking paint
Patching cracks with court patch binder
Using acrylic resurfacer
Striping the court for tennis and pickleball
Fixing the lighting
Fixing the fencing and lining
Purchasing new nets and other materials
Purchasing a storage container for sporting materials
Installing benches and signage
